AIS Freestyle

AIS organise Freestyle tournaments for junior soccer players as an opportunity for them to express their creativity through soccer.

The LegalWise Junior Freestyle Grand Final took place in November at the Wanderers Club, Johannesburg. 20 finalists had been chosen from the heats which were held in shopping malls across Johannesburg. The event patron, Matthew Booth, together with professional freestylers, Doctor and Subs, were on the judges panel who chose the four winners.

Congratulations go to each of our winners who walked away with prize packages including Hummel clothing and PowerAde goodies, and they will now continue to receive Freestyle training at the AIS LegalWise Hope Academy in Dobsonville.

The winners in each category were:

Under 12: Tshegofatso Tauyan

Under 14: Jeremia Thabe

Under 16: Khawulani Biyela

Girls: Katlego Mashishi

The People's champion, decided by a public cell phone vote, was Jeremia Thabe after wowing the crowd with his superb skill. Jeremia won a Hummel soccer kit for his school.
