AIS Zambia

Soccer holds a very special place in the nation of Zambia.  Throughout the recent history, soccer has been a beacon of hope in Zambia.  AIS Academy is seeking to utilize this passion for soccer in order to develop community based programmes that bring a message of hope to those in need.  We believe that soccer is a means through which young people can be trained to reach their potential on the soccer field, in the classroom, as a member of society and for the whole future.

Ambassadors in Sport (AIS) Academy was founded in Chilenje South Lusaka in November 2004.  The primary objective of AIS academy is to bring hope through the medium of soccer.  As a Christian soccer academy AIS endeavour to partner with church groups in communities across Chilenje and the rest of Zambia to help impact the world of soccer from the grassroots level.

The director of AIS Zambia is Mr. Daliso Mwale.  He has been involved in Chilenje Soccer development as a player, coach and administrator in the local church development since 1998 and he has been trained in soccer development.  Other people in the project include: Mr. Langson Moyo, Head Coach; Mr. Teddy Lupili, Technical Advisor; Mrs. Cindy Lupili, Administration & Marketing Director; Mr. Francis Chivuta, Community Outreach Coordinator; Mrs. Isabel Mwale, Finance Director.
AIS Academy is currently training every Monday to Friday at Chilenje South High School in Chilenje South.
